The W3C accepted DRM into what was formerly the open web. The EFF argues that having lost the DRM fight we must go up to a higher level and address issues in the DMCA. Andrej Karpathy, Director of AI at Tesla, suggests that neural networks and deep learning represent a fundamental shift in how we write software, dubbing the ML-aided development style "Software 2.0." Pete Warden, Staff Research Engineer at Google and Technical Lead for Tensorflow, agrees in a follow-up post.
