Surfer meets shark in 4K drone footage [VIDEO]
YouTube user Jason Griffeth captured this recent 4K footage of the Florida coast using a DJI Mavic Air drone.
Griffeth, from Vero Beach, posted the video under his social media handle Hydrophilik, garnering 60,000 views in two days.
According to Griffeth, the video shows off the waters near Vero Beach and the Fort Pierce Inlet along Florida's eastern coast.
Griffeth says many of the sharks appear to be spinner and blacktip sharks, which go through a seasonal migration along the coast every February.
At one point, a surfer appears to come close or even collide with an unsuspecting shark. Neither seems too fazed by the impact.
The shark quickly swims away and merges with a school of other roaming sharks.
The footage happens around the 48-second mark.
There are also bird's eye views of manatees and a spotted eagle ray.
"Amazing shot," wrote YouTuber miguelvox in the comments. "Thanks for sharing those magnificent sea creatures."
