Inside Drones (Jan 18th, 2019)

Last month, a fixed-wing drone made a mail delivery in Switzerland, flying more than 60 miles in an hour and 15 minutes between two cities in the Swiss Alps. Lucky for us, Team BlackSheep posted a video of the journey on YouTube — and the results are pretty spectacular.

A spotter airplane followed the drone to maintain visual line of sight. After flying at an average speed of 48 mph, it ended the journey with 45 percent battery life — which we think is pretty darn good.

The video, which was posted on Jan. 11, already had 342 comments as of Friday.

"My next TBS order better be delivered like this 🔥," YouTuber LeoFPV joked.
