Grocery delivery startup Instacart has raised $200m in a funding round led by Valiant Capital and D1 Capital Partners. The company’s valuation has increased from $14b at the beginning of the year to $17.7b.

- 2020 – $17.7b
- Instacart has partnerships with retailers including Walmart, Costco, 7-Eleven, and Sephora.
- Other grocery delivery services have announced similar partnerships – Shipt with Bed Bath & Beyond, and DoorDash with Macy’s and Walgreens. Uber entered the competition with its Cornershop acquisition.
- Another delivery startup, goPuff, raised $380m in a funding round led by Accel and D1 Capital Partners. The company is currently valued at $3.9b.
