Renault will unveil a new electric SUV concept car and an affordable EV next week. The automaker has accelerated its EV strategy amid upcoming EV mandates in its key market of Europe. In 2018, it outlined a $1.16b investment into EV development and production.
- Not much is known about Renault’s future electric SUV concept, but Autocar reports it will likely be inspired by the Morphoz SUV concept vehicle unveiled in March.
- Renault is also expected to unveil the production version of the Dacia Spring, which was previewed in March and has a range of about 125 miles on a single charge. The Dacia Spring is expected to be one of the most affordable EVs in Europe.
