1. Colby Covington says he feels uncomfortable training with teammates at the famed American Top Team gym in Florida. “I don't know if people are gonna come up and try to attack me,” he said. “Chaos” has been putting on a controversial persona since 2017, drawing the ire of teammates like Jorge Masvidal and Dustin Poirier in the process. ATT owner Dan Lambert, however, does not think Covington will leave the team despite the ongoing feuds. -- ESPN

2. UFC Hall-of-Famer Urijah Faber warned Jose Aldo about over-cutting weight for UFC 245. Aldo will make his bantamweight debut on Dec. 14 after more than a decade of fighting at featherweight. A week ago, a photo of the former Brazilian champion surfaced online, showing him looking thinner than usual. But in a recent interview, Aldo said his weight cut was “pretty easy” after a two-month diet. -- MMA MANIA

3. Daniel Cormier described Stipe Miocic’s desire to fight former world boxing champion Tyson Fury as “misguided.” Miocic, the current UFC heavyweight titleholder, has been calling out Fury for a possible crossover MMA fight. Cormier himself was in the same spot last year when he wanted to fight WWE star, Brock Lesnar. A third fight between the two will likely take place, but no date has been determined. -- LOW KICK MMA

4. Bellator flyweight champion Illima-Lei Macfarlane is willing to lose her title to friend and training partner Liz Carmouche. “I’m just excited to see what this next chapter brings her,” Macfarlane said. Carmouche, who lost to Valentina Shevchenko in a flyweight title fight last August, was released from the UFC while doing a promotional tour for the company in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. -- MMA JUNKIE

5. Michael Bisping sees a strong case for Alistair Overeem to appeal his loss to Jairzinho Rozenstruik last weekend. “He’s certainly got potential grounds there for a real appeal,” said Bisping. Observers don’t agree with referee Dan Miragliotta’s decision to stop the fight with four seconds left, even if Overeem immediately stood back up after being dropped by a right hand. Rozenstruik was subsequently awarded a TKO win. -- BJPENN.COM

6. Tyron Woodley no longer wants to take a fight outside of the United States. “When I go out of the country, I wanna be on vacation,” said the former UFC welterweight champion. The 37-year-old Woodley, who also serves as an analyst for ESPN, hadn’t fought since March when he dropped the title to current champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 235. -- BLOODY ELBOW

7. UFC strawweight Cynthia Calvillo admits she needs to move up to flyweight after multiple weight misses. The 32-year-old Calvillo already failed to make the 115-pound limit thrice since she entered the company in 2017. The most recent one happened on Friday before her fight against Marina Rodriguez, where she missed the mark by four and a half pounds. The bout ended in a draw, with Calvillo giving up 20 percent of her purse as a penalty. -- THE LUKE THOMAS SHOW/TWITTER

8. Frankie Edgar says his sudden decision to fight in South Korea is also about life experience. “I’ve never taken a fight on two weeks’ notice across the country,” said the New Jersey native. The 38-year-old Edgar volunteered to replace the injured Brian Ortega and fight “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung at UFC Busan on Dec. 21. It will be his second bout in Asia since he fought in Manila in 2015. -- MMA FIGHTING

9. Dana White promises a rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. But according to the UFC president, McGregor will need to defeat Donald Cerrone in January, while Nurmagomedov will have to get through Tony Ferguson in April. McGregor and Nurmagomedov first fought in October 2018 at UFC 229, with the latter winning by fourth-round submission. The card ended up being one of the most lucrative events in UFC history, with 2.4 million pay-per-view buys. -- BT SPORT/TWITTER

10. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is already mulling retirement ahead of his upcoming fight in Japan on Dec. 28. “I think about it every time I get on the mat, every time I train,” said the 41-year-old MMA veteran. Jackson, a former UFC champion, will face Russian legend Fedor Emelianenko in a heavyweight bout for Bellator’s year-end event. -- MMA NEWS
