2. After rescuing 37 Boston terriers from a hoarding situation, Muttville is hustling to find them all homes. Patty Stanton, the spokesperson for the longstanding senior dog rescue, says that the pups will arrive at the shelter in two waves, one last Monday and one today. The dogs, all of whom qualify as "senior," "come from a hoarding case and a rescue that has closed its doors," Stanton says. The org has made a video of the first group of guests - it's pretty adorable, and can be viewed here. As you can imagine, though, this operation has the shelter bursting at the seams, so anyone interested in fostering or adopting one of these dogs is invited to a so-called "Boston Tea Party" at Muttville (255 Alabama Street) on June 29th and 30th from noon-4. You just might meet your new best friend!
