Google launched a new platform called "Bug Hunters" that will house all of its Vulnerability Rewards Programs (VRP). Since the beginning of VRP in 2010, 2,022 security researchers have been collectively rewarded $29,357,516 for reporting over 11,000 bugs.
- The new site combines Google, Android, Abuse, Chrome, and Play VRPs and provides a single intake form that makes it easier to submit issues.
- The company is also launching Bug Hunter University that teaches how to uncover cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Rewards for catching vulnerabilities range from $100 to $31,337.
