An attacker breached the site of famed artist Banksy to sell a fake NFT of the artist’s work for over $336,000. Luckily for the buyer, the attacker returned the stolen funds minus a $5,000 transaction fee.
- The buyer was notable anonymous NFT collector Pranksy.
- The transaction was carried out on the popular NFT exchange OpenSea.
