28% of respondents said their firms had been targeted in ransomware attacks, according to a recent survey from cybersecurity firm Cymulate. 82% said their firms had adopted new measures to protect themselves from cyber-attacks.
- 64% of previous ransomware victims said they were increasing their security budget, and 58% boosted their headcounts.
- Among non-victims, 54% of companies raised their security budget, and 37% increased their headcounts.
- 70% of respondents said they noticed increased awareness of ransomware threats among their executive team.
