YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said they will be hiring more than 10,000 moderators for video content in 2018. The Google-owned company has come under fire lately for exploitative content and obscene comments on kids' videos that are affecting its advertising revenue. Last month, YouTube implemented new policies to flag inappropriate content. In addition to hiring the moderators and the existing machine-learning algorithms that detect and flag content, the company says they will create and release aggregated data about the flags and the removal of videos that violate YouTube policies. — TECHCRUNCH
