The new Smithsonian Channel documentary "The Coronation" features a rare, candid interview with Queen Elizabeth II. The one hour special chronicles the Queen's coronation on June 2, 1952, as well as the 1937 coronation of her father, George VI. In a preview clip, the 91-year-old monarch discusses the significance of the Crown Jewels, the discomfort of riding in her coronation coach and other recollections from the ceremony itself. "The Coronation," which was co-produced with the BBC and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, airs on Smithsonian Channel on January 14. – EW
