The filmmakers behind Netflix's "Seeing Allred" spoke to Vice about putting the Gloria Allred profile together as the #MeToo movement was unfolding. Co-director Sophie Sartain explained how crucial it was to depict Allred - the noted civil rights attorney - not just as a feminist icon but someone who is "very much still...in the fight" after 40 years. Producer Marta Kauffman (who also co-created the classic sitcom "Friends") described the 3-year process of making "Seeing Allred" as "exhilarating—sometimes exhausting." The film debuts on Netflix on February 9. – VICE
