The new Sinespace social VR metaverse is growing by 20 percent week over week. Sine Wave Entertainment Ltd. and Sinespace was founded by Adam Frisby, a longtime entrepreneur in the popular virtual world Second Life. Frisby says that Sinespace is the first true "VR metaverse," because it functions across platforms including PC and VR systems like HTC’s Vive, Oculus Rift, and those that run Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality. Sansar is another VR social space that is considered a metaverse, but only uses PC. Sinespace operates on the Unreal game engine and is modular and meant to be upgradeable; it has a functioning economy and unique social features such as using a device's webcam to help avatars mirror the user's facial expressions. — FAST COMPANY
