2. A group of third-year students in Japan has created a VR roller coaster inside their classroom. The construction was part of Takanawa Junior High School’s “bunkasai,” or “culture festival.” According to VRScout, the system used a modified “Minecraft” system that included improved lighting and shadow effects that helped the VR view mimic movements in the physical ride. One of the creators reportedly wasn’t satisfied, insisting they wanted to build the simulation in Unity, but had run out of time. -- VRSCOUT
