ILMxLAB VR experience "Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge" is due out this fall on Oculus Quest. Lucasfilm’s immersive entertainment studio released the first preview trailer along with new details about the game, which will feature a cameo from the Millennium Falcon.
- Users will play as a droid repair technician who crash lands on the planet Batuu following a pirate attack.
- Players can interact with cantina bartender Seezelslak, played by SNL's Bobby Moynihan, or Quarren pirate Tara Rashin, played by Mad TV's Debra Wilson. Moynihan and Wilson both have starred in previous "Star Wars" games and shows.
- Seezelslak will share stories that allow players to transport to other times and places in the "Star Wars" galaxy. They can also play Repulsor Darts in the cantina and complete missions in the wilds of Batuu.
- The game uses concept art from Disney's "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" rides and reported gaming style and storytelling from "Vader Immortal."
