YouTuber Hakke re-created several Disney attractions in VR using PS4 content creator "Dreams."

• They include Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain, and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Hakke (whose "Dreams" user name is TheArmyofDos) also released a playthrough of the latest update of the Disneyland Resort Dream.
• Artist MonocledRobot created a clone of "Beat Saber" in the new PSVR update to "Dreams."
• "Dreams" PSVR support arrived last month as an update to the existing game-within-a-game creator. Developer Media Molecule, which also created the "Little Big Planet" games, notes that all content published before the update will be marked as "Non-VR."

Orders for the VR Power battery pack and counterweight will now ship in 1-3 weeks. The add-on device, which extends battery life and comfortability of the Oculus Quest, has faced delays because of high demand and disruptions in the global supply chain.

• Creator Rebuff Reality apologized for delays and said inventory has been restored for VR Power, which costs $59.99.
• It attaches to the Quest's strap and connects to provide backup power; it also acts as a counterweight, offering better balance for the headset’s fitting.
• In January, Rebuff said the device was heavily back-ordered, with production impacted by the coronavirus.

Software engineer Alexander Evans shared a prototype for 3D-printed VR shoes. The motorized shoes have omnidirectional wheels for moving in multiple directions during VR gameplay.

• The shoes are similar to an omni treadmill and allow users to stay in the same spot in the real world as they walk in VR. They require a ceiling-mounted safety harness to prevent injuries.
• Evans is working on software to automate movement (currently they have to be controlled manually via an Android app) and incorporate the shoes into VR gameplay. He wants to support jogging and crouching in the future.
• He posted videos showing a test of the strafing, a close up of the shoes, and their binding.
• Evans is funding the project himself and also accepting donations. He says he won't get a patent and has made the device completely open-source.

VR wellness company BehaVR partnered with Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co. to develop a VR product that helps manage social anxiety disorder.

• While not many details have been released, the product will use VR to target the stress and anxiety behind the disorder and provide personalized education, coping skills, and behavioral reinforcements.
• BehaVR said social anxiety disorder is underreported and undertreated and affects up to 7% of the world's population.
• The product is due out in the U.S. in 2022.
• Earlier this year, Microsoft gave a health award to Kentucky-based BehaVR, which also has programs for chronic stress, pain, and addiction recovery. CEO Aaron Gani is the former CTO of Humana.
