Actress Piper Perabo rose to prominence as the ingenue in the unintentional camp classic "Coyote Ugly," but these days she's known less for dancing on bars than she is for her arrest during a protest of Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. Civil disobedience is new for Perabo, she says, as “I grew up thinking most people get arrested because they made a bad choice." But after listening to the "Access Hollywood" tape, in which Donald Trump admitted to initiating non-consensual sexual contact, she says she had a "political awakening" and dedicated the following year to listening and note-taking at activist events before taking action of her own.
