Anyone who's driven through Texas or Oklahoma is likely familiar with Joe Exotic, a man whose face was emblazoned on billboards across both states as he advertised his roadside zoos. He called himself the "Tiger King," partially because it sounds cool (it does!) and partically because he bred the beasts - as well as lions, babboons, and other wild beasts. The king's reign came to an abrupt end earlier this year, however, when he was found guilty of two counts of murder-for-hire and 17 federal wildlife charges.
